| Contacts are exported from the WindowsPhone with ExportContacts. The contacts are sent to a WebService. The WebService stores the contacts in a CSV or XML file and sends them to the registered email address. The app producer operates such a 'public WebService' that can be used free of charge. For this, a data connection is required. It is possible to operate a self-hosted 'ExportContact_WebService'. When the WindowsPhone is connected with your private network via WLAN, data is not transported via the internet but solely remains inside your network. The 'ExportContact_WebService' is available for download free of charge. If Outlook is installed on the computer on which the 'ExportContact_WebService' is operated, then there is the possibility to import the contacts directly into an Outlook contact folder. You can define to which contact folder the contacts are to be imported and if the contacts already existing in the contact folder should be deleted before import. |
